Give Staff Access to Test Day Toolkit
Test coordinators are responsible for giving their staff access to Test Day Toolkit for each test administration.
Access for New Staff
- Coordinators add new staff to the upcoming administration in Test Day Toolkit by going to the Staff page and clicking Add Staff.
- Staff use the personalized access email they receive to complete 2-step verification.
- They sign in to their College Board professional account (or create one if they need to).
- After completing the verification process, they’ll choose their test site and test administration from the dropdown menus.
Access for Returning Staff
- Coordinators select returning staff from the staff list in Test Day Toolkit by clicking Add Staff on the Staff page.
- Staff receive an email letting them know they’ve been added to a new test administration.
- After signing in to their College Board account at testday.collegeboard.org, they choose their test site and test administration from the dropdown menus.
All Staff
Whether they’re new or returning, staff will see the “You’re all set” page until their coordinator grants them full access, usually on or just before test day.
FAQ
What if staff didn’t get a Test Day Toolkit access email?
Try these fixes in order:
- Make sure staff are using an access email personalized for them. Access emails won’t work if shared.
- Ask staff to check their junk email folder. The access email will come from College Board and include "Test Day Toolkit" in the subject line.
- Ask them to add College Board to their contacts and use Test Day Toolkit to send them another access email. Just check the box next to the staff name on the Staff page and select Send access email from the dropdown menu.
What if staff didn’t get a verification code or their code doesn’t work?
If staff didn’t get a verification code, their test coordinator should check their contact info in Test Day Toolkit to make sure it’s accurate and immediately accessible.
The code is valid for three minutes so if it doesn’t work, it probably expired. Staff can request another code and should choose an option they can access immediately. If the phone number is a school number and not a direct line, for example, staff might not get the voice message. And if staff are trying to access email at school it could arrive too late. Mobile numbers are usually the best choice.
Coordinators can edit contact info by clicking the staff name on the Staff page and then clicking Edit.
Why can’t staff choose their test administration when they sign in to Test Day Toolkit?
If returning staff sign in to Test Day Toolkit and don’t see their test administration listed in the dropdown menu, it’s likely their coordinator hasn’t added them to that test administration yet.
Coordinators need to select returning staff from their staff list and assign them to the upcoming administration.

What if staff sign in successfully but can’t use Test Day Toolkit?
