What if Bluebook displays an error about incorrect configuration or failure to load?

If Bluebook doesn’t open on a Chromebook and displays an error that the application is not configured correctly or that extensions failed to load, files were corrupted. You have 2 options:

  • If it’s test day, give the student a backup device (if available).
  • If your school manages the device, technology staff can resolve the issue by resetting (powerwashing) it and, if necessary, reenrolling it. Instructions are available in the Google admin console.

To avoid file corruption in the future, wait a few minutes before closing Bluebook the first time you open it on a new device.
