What can I do to minimize technical testing disruptions?
You can minimize the risk of delayed starts, test disruptions, and answer submission issues if you follow the instructions for preparing your networks and school-managed devices (if applicable).
To prepare your network:
- Set up a guest network if necessary.
- Help your test coordinator choose testing rooms.
- Configure your network to allow all necessary traffic.

To prepare school-managed devices:
- Make sure testing devices meet all requirements.
- Follow installation instructions carefully.
- Enable forced Bluebook updates.
- Remove or disable software and processes that launch on startup or run in the background.
- On Chromebooks, clear user profiles and check the auto-connect setting.
- Enable Chromebook kiosk accessibility features for students who test with accommodations.
