FAQ
How do breaks and timing work in Bluebook?
Students start their own test by entering a code their proctor reads at the end of the script.
Bluebook times each student individually and displays a timer, which students can hide if they prefer.
Proctors don’t time students or announce time remaining.
If start times are slightly staggered, break times will be too.
Bluebook tells students when to take their break
SAT Weekend students can leave the room without asking the proctor to dismiss them.
Students who take unscheduled breaks lose testing time.
