August 18, 2 PM EST: How to Prepare your Device for Test Day

If you haven’t already, make sure you take these critical steps before test day. If you don’t, you may not be able to use Bluebook on your Chromebook or Windows device. Learn how to prepare your device here.

Planning to test on a Chromebook?

Bluebook now requires your device to run in “Verified Mode”. To check, open Bluebook on your Chromebook and click Test Your Device. If you see a checkmark next to Verified Mode, you’re all set. If you don’t, contact your school and ask them to enable verified mode on your Chromebook or consider using another device if available.

Planning to test on a Windows device?

It needs to be running Windows 11 24H2 or newer. Older versions, including Windows 10, will not work on test day. Learn how to check your version here.
