How do I check my device to see which version of Windows it’s running?

To check the operating system version on a Windows device:

1. Open Settings.
2. Go to System > About.
3. Expand the Windows specifications section.
4. Check the Version field to make sure the OS version is between the required minimum and the recommended maximum listed on Windows Requirements.
