FAQ

What if an SAT Weekend student is late or unprepared?

Test centers can decide what to do if students arrive unprepared as long as they treat all students fairly. You can dismiss them, but you may want to plan for the scenarios listed below. Any students you dismiss can contact College Board if they have questions about rescheduling.

Late arrivals: If their proctor has started, the test coordinator can use Test Day Toolkit to move the student to a room where the proctor isn’t as far along.

Students who arrive without Bluebook installed or without an admission ticket: If the student is on your roster, you can let them download Bluebook in their testing room. It doesn’t usually take long, but too many simultaneous downloads could slow your network.

Students won’t have an admission ticket if they haven’t downloaded Bluebook and completed exam setup.

Students who arrive without a device: If your test center installed Bluebook on backup devices, you can offer them on a fair, first-come, first-served basis—but all students must be allowed to test on the device they bring with them.
