Do I need to bring and prepare my own device for AP Exams, SAT School Day, and PSAT-related assessments?

Tests administered by the school you attend: If your school is giving AP Exams, SAT School Day, or PSAT-related assessments, they’ll decide. If they allow or require you to test on a school-managed device, they’ll prepare the device for you. If they allow or require you to test on a personal device, follow the instructions for preparing a personal device.

Testing at a test center or a school you don’t attend: If you’re taking AP Exams, SAT School Day, or PSAT-related assessments at a school you don’t attend or a test center, you’ll probably need to prepare a testing device yourself and bring it with you on test day. Follow guidance provided by the  school or test center giving the test.
